Lori Spurgeon

Hello, my name is Lori Spurgeon and I am the Assistant Director and Director of Clinical Operations for Denver Recovery Group. I am a Licensed Addiction Counselor and I have been with the organization since 2016. I am passionate about the work we do, our continued growth in support of reaching out to communities in Colorado who do not have access to care, and providing life saving medication.

I am from Seabrook, Texas, a "small" town on the Gulf of Mexico between Houston and Galveston. I moved to Colorado 10 years ago from Pearl Harbor, HI after servicing 12 years in the United States Navy. I served as a Communication Electrician (IC) and for my last tour I supported active duty military, for the Navy and the Marines, as a Substance Abuse and Recovery Program Coordinator and Sexual Assault Victim Advocate for the Region of Hawaii. I love the beach and scuba diving, don't get to do much of that these days being landlocked, spending time with my family, and traveling.
